Lodge Star in the East No. 640
Founded in 1879, Lodge Star in the East No. 640 SC is the third oldest lodge in Japan and the first to resume labour after WWII. The history section of this website contains a comprehensive record of the foundation and history of both the Lodge and Freemasonry in Yokohama. -
Far East Lodge No. 1
Founded in 1947, Far East Lodge No. 1 was the first lodge to join the Grand Lodge of Japan in 1958. The website contains a large collection of papers relating to Freemasonry in Japan and the history of the foundation of the Grand Lodge of Japan. -
