This website seeks to promote membership of the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle in Japan and encourage research into Japanese Freemasonry.
Membership of the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle (QCCC) is open to all Master Masons belonging to jurisdictions in amity with the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE). For details of the Circle's activities and applications for membership, please refer to the About QCCC page of this site.
Inquiries about membership may be sent directly to the QCCC website or through the Secretary for Japan. An email Inquiry Form is provided for this purpose.
Activities
Although the number of Masons in Japan is small, the history of Masonry in Japan is long, complex and largely undocumented. The Reference section of this website provides a short bibliography of published material and links to papers and articles available on the Web.
Original notes and articles on Japanese Masonry are most welcome, especially those dealing with topics that have not yet been researched in depth. Such original notes and articles are contained in the Research section.
